Essential Items to Bring on the Day of Your Exams

Preparing for an examination can be a nerve-wracking experience, but ensuring you have everything you need on the big day can help alleviate some of the stress. Whether you're about to take the RadTech and X-Ray Tech licensure exams or any other crucial examination, being well-prepared is key. In this article we will guide you through the essential items to bring with you on the day of your exams.

What to bring on the day of exams?

Notice of Admission:

The Notice of Admission is a vital document that confirms your eligibility to take the examination. It contains important details such as your name, examination venue, date, and time. Make sure to bring a printed copy of your Notice of Admission to present to the examination officials.

Official Receipt:

Don't forget to bring the official receipt of your examination fee payment. This receipt serves as proof of payment and may be required for verification purposes.

Metered-Stamped Window Mailing Envelope:

You will need to bring one piece of a metered-stamped window mailing envelope. This envelope will be used to enclose and submit your answer sheets or other required documents.

Writing Utensils:

Ensure that you have at least two or more pencils with a No. 2 lead. Some examinations may specify this requirement, so it's best to be prepared. Additionally, bring ballpoint pens with black ink for any sections or tasks that require it.

Long Brown Envelope:

A long brown envelope will be necessary to secure and organize your examination materials. This envelope will help keep your papers safe and prevent them from getting lost or damaged.

Transparent/Plastic Envelope:

Carrying a long transparent or plastic envelope is recommended for storing your valuable items, such as your mobile phone, wallet, and identification cards. It helps keep your belongings secure during the exam while complying with any restrictions on personal items.

Health Forms and Test Results:

As part of the COVID-19 protocols, you may be required to submit health forms, including negative RT-PCR test results (if applicable), certificates of quarantine, or proof of complete vaccination. Ensure you have these documents ready and submit them to the proctor on the examination day if necessary.

Taking important exams, such as the RadTech and X-Ray Tech licensure exams, requires careful planning and preparation. By bringing the essential items mentioned above, you'll have a smoother experience on the day of your exams. Remember to double-check your documents and supplies before leaving for the examination venue to ensure you have everything you need. Good luck!
