A few weeks prior to the July 13-14, 2024 Master Plumber Licensure Exam (MPLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will make available the list of room assignments.
The PRC testing centers situated in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales and Tacloban will serve as the venues for the exams. Hon. Reynald B. Ilagan is the Chairman of the Board of Master Plumbers, with Hon. Pedrito D. Camilet, Jr. and Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz serving as members.

What do you bring on the day of exams?
Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:
- Notice of Admission
- Official Receipt
- Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
- Ball pens (black ink only)
- One (1) piece long brown envelope
- One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
- Negative RT-PCR Test Results, if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine or Certificate or copy of Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees to the proctor on the examination day.
What to wear on examination day?
Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:
- For male examinees, tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
- For female examinees, tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
- What is not allowed during board exams?
- Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
- Programmable calculators especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
- Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth, and other electronic devices that may be used for communication purposes;
- Bags of any kind
Coverage of Exams
The 2024 Master Plumber licensure exam covered the following topics:
- Plumbing Arithmetic (10%)
- Sanitation, Plumbing Design and Installation (40%)
- Plumbing Code (10%)
- Practical Problems (40%)
