A few weeks prior to the February 2024 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam (MELE) and Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Exam (CELE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) publishes the list of room assignments. 

These exams will be held on February 20-22, 2024, across various PRC testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga. The Board of Mechanical Engineering is composed of its Chairman, Engr. Leandro A. Conti, and its members, Engr. Jerico T. Borja and Engr. Lorenzo P. Larion.

What to bring on the day of exams?

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

  • Notice of Admission
  • Official Receipt
  • One (1) piece of metered-stamped window mailing envelope
  • Two (2) or more pencils (NO. 2)
  • Ball pens (black ink only)
  • One (1) piece long brown envelope
  • One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
  • Health Forms (Pursuant to Joint Administrative Order No. 01, series of 2020)
  • Negative RT-PCR Test Results (if applicable), or Certificate of Quarantine or copy of the Complete Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees to be submitted to the proctor on the examination day.

What to wear on examination day?

Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:

  • For male examinees, tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
  • For female examinees, tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

1. Examinees are prohibited to use cellular phone, ear plugs, bluetooth, andother electronics gadgets/devices;
2. Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula are not allowed inside the testing center premises.
3. Avoid using Plastic PET Bottles, plastic wrappers and food packages. This is in observance with the eco-solid waste initiatives of our partner schools.
4. Personal belongings brought by an examinee shall be for his/her own account. The PRC will not be answerable for any such item or personal belonging that might be lost during the examination without fault or negligence on its part.
