A few weeks prior to the May 2024 Nurses Licensure Examination (MLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) publishes the list of room assignments.
The May 2024 Room Assignments Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) will be held on May 06 & 07, 2024 at PRC testing centers located at Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

NOTE: Report to the school/building assignment before 5:30 A.M. on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted
What to wear on the day of exams?
- Male Examinees - Clinical Uniform with white shoes and white socks but without nameplate, school insignia/logo and pin; or School Uniform.
- Female Examinees - Clinical Uniform with white shoes and white stockings but without nameplate, school insignia/logo and pin; or School Uniform.
- Pregnant Female - White Clinical Scrub Suit
What to bring on the day of exams?
Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:
- Notice of Admission
- Official Receipt
- Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
- Ball pens (black ink only)
- One (1) piece long brown envelope
- One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
Prohibited Items Inside the Exam Rooms:
- Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
- Calculators of any kind
- Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth, and other electronic devices that may be used for communication purposes
- Bags of any kind (ladies bag, shoulder bags, attaché case, backpacks, etc.)
- Other examination aides not stated in this program.
Coverage of Exams
The May 2024 Nursing licensure exam covered topics from community health nursing, care of healthy or at-risk mother and child, and care of clients with physiologic and psychosocial alterations.
As per the Board of Nursing, the tests draw basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the major subject areas, specifically in fundamentals of nursing, including professional adjustments, maternal and child nursing, community health and communicable disease nursing, nursing of adolescents, adults and aged, and mental health and psychiatric nursing.
The examination also tests competencies in relation to the eleven (11) key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. The key areas are categorized as follows:
