A few weeks prior to the July 2,3 &4, 2024 Interior Designer Licensure Exam (IDLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will make available the list of room assignments.
The PRC testing centers situated in NCR, Cebu, and Davao.

July 2024 Room Assignment Interior Designer Licensure Exam (IDLE)
What do you bring on the day of exams?
Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:
- Notice of Admission
- Official Receipt
- Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
- Ball pens (black ink only)
- One (1) piece long brown envelope
- One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
What to wear on examination day?
Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:
- Male Examinees - White polo shirts with collar (without any seal, logo or mark) Decent pants or slacks
- Female Examinees - White blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal logo or mark) Decent pants or slacks
Special Instructions:
1. Examinees shall bring every examination day the following: drawing
boards not less than
24" x 36" with the corresponding T-Squares, set of drawing instruments,
scale rule in
english and metric, 60 degrees and 45 degrees triangles, protractors,
compass, pencils,
technical pens, erasers, cutters, paste or glue, stapler or adhesive
tapes, 1 inch bulldog
clips, water color, colored pencils, colored chalk pastel and rendering
requirements.
2. Examinees shall provide the materials for the subject below:
Interior Design
1 sheet A4 for Design Concept Essay
4 sheets of A3 Tracing Paper for:
1. Space
Plan
2.
Reflected Ceiling Plan
3.
Elevation A & B
4.
Elevation C & D
1 sheet A3 Paper for Specification of Materials and Finishes of
1. Floor
2. Walls
3. Ceiling
4. Others
1 pc. Illustration Board (15” x 20”) for Perspective and Color Scheme
Rendering
3. PRC shall provide the materials for the subject below:
Color Theory
5 sheets Water Color Paper A4
4. Examinees shall not be allowed to leave the examination room, borrow
anything, or
communicate with one another on any subject matter at any time during the
examination
period. Every examinee is requested to bring his/her lunch and/or supper
(placed inside a
transparent/plastic bag) on every examination day. The proctors/room
watchers shall not
allow any person to give or distribute food to any examinee while the
examination is in
progress.
