Room Assignment Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) – A few weeks before the February 2025 Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the list of room assignments for the exam. 

The CLE will be conducted from February 5, 6 & 7, 2025, at various PRC testing centers, including NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bohol, Calbayog, Cauayan (Isabela), Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Occidental Mindoro, Rosales, and Bayambang (Pangasinan).

Hon. Ramil G. Gabao chairs the Board of Criminology, with Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz as members who headed the CLE.

NOTE: Report to the school/building assignment before 5:30 A.M. on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted

What to wear on the day of exams?

Examinees are required to wear the following attire every examination day:
Male Examinees 
  • White polo shirt or shirts with collar, tucked-in (without any seal, logo or make) 
  • Decent pants or slacks.
Female Examinees - 
  • White blouse or shirts with collar (without any seal, logo or mark) 
  • Decent pants, slacks or skirts.

What to bring on the day of exams?

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

  • Notice of Admission
  • Official Receipt
  • Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
  • Ball pens (black ink only)
  • One (1) piece long brown envelope
  • One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
  • Horseshoe Microscope or Magnifying Glass


Prohibited Items Inside the Exam Rooms:

  • Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
  • Calculators of any kind
  • Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth, and other electronic devices that may be used for communication purposes
  • Bags of any kind
  • PRC added that they will not be responsible for any lost personal belongings.

  • The 2024 Criminology licensure exam covered the following topics:
  • Criminal Jurisprudence, Procedure, And Evidence (criminal law book I, criminal law book II; criminal procedure, evidence, and court testimony)
  • Law Enforcement Administration (police organization and administration with police planning, industrial security administration, police patrol operations with police communication system, police intelligence, police personnel, and records management, comparative police system) 
  • Criminalistics (personal identification, police photography, forensic ballistics, questioned documents examination, polygraph – lie detection, legal medicine)
  • Crime Detection And Investigation (fundamentals of criminal investigation, traffic management, accident investigation, special crime investigation, organized crime investigation, drug education, and vice control, fire technology, and arson investigation)
  • Sociology of Crimes and Ethics (introduction to criminology and psychology of crimes, Philippine criminal justice system, ethics and values, juvenile delinquency, human behavior, and crisis management, and criminological research and statistics)
  • Correctional  Administration (institutional corrections, non-institutional corrections)
